Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 10:01 PM EDT) -- Deutsche Bahn AG, EGL Inc. and Vantec Corp. on Tuesday agreed to pay a combined $29 million to settle a putative class action in New York accusing them and dozens of other companies of fixing prices in the international freight forwarding industry.
The plaintiffs, a putative class of direct purchasers led by Mail Boxes Etc. Inc., Precision Associates Inc. and JCK Industries Inc., asked the court to approve the deals and certify the settlement class.
