Ex-Madoff Employee Wins Relaxed House Arrest

Law360, New York (September 21, 2011, 6:35 PM EDT) -- A New York judge slackened bail conditions for a longtime Bernard L. Madoff aide Wednesday, allowing her greater freedom to leave her home while awaiting trial for her alleged role in the multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme.

Annette Bongiorno was removed from total house arrest and is now allowed her to leave her Long Island, N.Y., home between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. five days a week, her attorney confirmed.
