Casinos Violated NLRA In Anti-Union Campaign: Judge

Law360, Los Angeles (September 23, 2011, 7:11 PM EDT) -- A National Labor Relations Board judge found Thursday that Las Vegas off-strip gambling chain Station Casinos Inc. committed 82 labor law violations by improperly suppressing its employees’ unionization effort.

In a sprawling 151-page decision, Administrative Law Judge Geoffrey Carter found that Station managers repeatedly threatened and punished employees for attempting to unionize, including wrongfully discharging two workers, in violation of the National Labor Relations Act.
