Madoff Trustee Renews $91M American Securities Suit

Law360, New York (September 23, 2011, 7:47 PM EDT) -- The trustee overseeing recovery for Bernard L. Madoff's victims on Friday relaunched its suit seeking $91 million from American Securities LP, which had close ties to Madoff and partnered with the owners of the New York Mets.

Madoff trustee Irving Picard filed an amended complaint Friday in New York bankruptcy court seeking $91 million in transfers dating back to 2000, after filing suit under seal against American Securities and certain of its officers, directors and employees in December 2010.
