Boutique Says Lauryn Hill Refused To Return Clothes

Law360, New York (September 26, 2011, 1:20 PM EDT) -- R&B artist Lauryn Hill on Friday was sued in California state court by a vintage clothing boutique that says the singer breached an agreement when she failed to return clothes she had rented for a tour.

Via Davia Vintage said Hill violated both written and oral contracts with the boutique by leasing wardrobe items for use on her 2007 European concert tour and then keeping the majority of the borrowed clothing without compensating Via Davia.
