Maxim Health Account Manager Gets Home Confinement

Law360, New York (September 26, 2011, 4:25 PM EDT) -- Former Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. account manager Andrew Sabbaghzadeh was sentenced Monday in New Jersey federal court to six months of home confinement for his participation in a nationwide billing scheme that defrauded Medicaid and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Sabbaghzadeh pled guilty in November 2009 to a charge of health care fraud, which carried a prison sentence of up to 10 years. In addition to the sentence of home confinement, he received three years' supervised release and a $2,000 fine, according to a spokesman...
