Rentech Strikes $2M Deal In Stock Inflation Action

Law360, Los Angeles (September 26, 2011, 3:49 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Monday approved clean energy technology developer Rentech Inc.’s $1.8 million settlement with a class of stockholders who claimed company officials made misleading statements that artificially inflated the value of its stock.

“The motion for final certification of the class and for final approval of the class action settlement, as well as the plan of allocation, that motion is granted,” District Judge George H. King told attorneys Monday.
