DOJ Wants More Info On $12.5B Google-Motorola Deal

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 9:26 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is probing Google Inc. and Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. for more information regarding their proposed $12.5 billion merger, according to Motorola's Wednesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Motorola did not identify any specifics as to what additional information was being requested, but said Google had received the same request and that both companies intended to cooperate fully with the DOJ's request.
