AT&T Fights Sprint, C Spire Bids To Nix $39B T-Mobile Buy

Law360, New York (September 30, 2011, 6:05 PM EDT) -- AT&T Inc. on Friday asked a Washington federal court to dismiss lawsuits filed by Sprint Nextel Corp. and C Spire Wireless Inc. seeking to block the telecom giant's proposed $39 billion acquisition of T-Mobile USA Inc., saying complaints filed by rivals are suspect.
