Weapon Supplier Targeted By Phony Export License Claims

Law360, New York (October 4, 2011, 4:29 PM EDT) -- A U.S. government contractor sued General Defense Corp. in Florida federal court Monday, claiming the subcontractor improperly denied it a $1 million refund despite having botched multiple orders of weapons from Romania by using a counterfeit export license.

Fresno, Calif.-based Dolarian Capital Inc. had contracted with the U.S. government to deliver the weapons and ammunition to the Afghanistan Ministry of Defense for use in reconstruction and stabilization efforts. It then enlisted GDC, which claims to be among the world's largest military procurement companies, as its supplier....
