Guitar Center Invaded Fired Worker's Privacy: Atty

Law360, New York (October 4, 2011, 10:24 PM EDT) -- Guitar Center Inc. not only fired an employee after he launched a class action alleging the retailer withheld meal and rest breaks, but allowed his co-workers to parade his final paycheck around his workplace, an attorney for the employee said on Tuesday.

Scott Cole, who represents former Guitar Center employee Carson Pellanda, said the firm amended the class action complaint lodged in California state court to include claims of wrongful termination and invasion of privacy.
