Wireless Group Again Blasts SF's Cellphone Dangers Law

Law360, New York (October 5, 2011, 4:26 PM EDT) -- A wireless telecommunications trade group on Monday renewed its broadside against a San Francisco ordinance requiring retailers to post information about the potentially dangerous effects of cellphone use, asking a federal court to prevent the law from taking effect.

CTIA-The Wireless Association launched a second amended complaint and motion for preliminary injunction, taking aim at an ordinance mandating cellphone retailers put up posters and informational statements warning that cellphone use might cause cancer and that customers should limit their exposure to cellphone radiation.
