SNC-Lavalin Scores Docs In Suit Over $56M Army Project

Law360, New York (October 7, 2011, 4:12 PM EDT) -- Canadian engineering firm SNC-Lavalin America Inc. on Thursday won access to documents in its $7 million breach of contract suit against U.S. Army contractor Alliant Techsystems Inc., with a judge ruling the information was not privileged attorney-client communications.

The documents are related to a $56.8 million Army plant project overseen by ATK, which stands accused of breaching a contract under which SNC provided engineering services for the project.
