Dollar Thrifty Off The Market After Bids Fall Short

Law360, New York (October 11, 2011, 1:29 PM EDT) -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. said Tuesday it had removed itself from the auction block after its suitors — Avis Budget Group Inc. and Hertz Global Holdings Inc. — failed to submit suitable offers that would also have cleared antitrust scrutiny.
