Kanye West, Jay-Z In Hot Water Over Soul Sample

Law360, New York (October 14, 2011, 3:21 PM EDT) -- Soul singer Syl Johnson hit Kanye West and Jay-Z with a copyright infringement suit in Illinois on Friday, claiming they sampled his hit “Different Strokes” without permission on their joint concept album "Watch The Throne."
