Chase Home Finance Can't Shake TILA Action

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 7:03 PM EDT) -- An Alabama federal judge on Monday denied Chase Home Finance LLC's bid to dismiss or amend a putative truth-in-lending class action accusing it of failing to timely notify customers when their mortgages were assigned to the lender.

U.S. District Judge William H. Steele found that Chase had failed to show at this stage of the case that the plaintiff didn't meet the requisite pleading standards.
