Blavatnik Balks At Lyondell Trustee's $300M Claim

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 6:47 PM EDT) -- Private equity mogul Leonard Blavatnik struck back Tuesday against a lawsuit by the Lyondell Chemical Co. trustee, saying the judge shouldn't force him and his company to fork over $300 million that Lyondell paid on a line of credit it received after its ill-fated leveraged buyout.
