Avis Workers Win Class Cert. In FLSA Wage Action

Law360, New York (October 19, 2011, 5:32 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Tuesday conditionally certified a class of Avis Budget Group Inc. shift managers accusing the car rental company of failing to pay them overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
