Rihanna Settles Photog's Copyright Suit Over 'S&M' Video

Law360, San Diego (October 19, 2011, 3:08 PM EDT) -- Pop superstar Rihanna has resolved a copyright infringement suit in New York federal court alleging she ripped off a photographer’s images for her “S&M” music video, the plaintiff’s attorney said Wednesday.

Debra Anne Mayer, who is representing plaintiff David LaChapelle in the matter, said the dispute had been resolved. An attorney representing Rihanna declined to comment.
