Hybrid Hits More Targets In Cable Internet Patent Suit

Law360 (June 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Adding to the list of defendants in its ongoing litigation over cable television patents, Hybrid Patents Inc. on Monday amended its complaint to include six more alleged infringers.

The suit is over four patents related to methods of using cable television lines for high-speed Internet service.

The original complaint, filed on July 14, 2006 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, only named cable companies Comcast Corp., Comcast of Dallas LP, Time Warner Cable Inc. and Cox Communications Inc.
