Firms Want Fee Dispute Transferred To Federal Court

Law360, New York (October 21, 2011, 6:53 PM EDT) -- Three law firms on Thursday sought to remove to federal court Nagel Rice LLP's allegations that they reneged on an agreement to share $590,000 in legal fees the firms racked up in overtime class action litigation against Morgan Stanley.

The Coffman Law Firm, DurretteBradshaw PLC and Futterman Howard Watkins Wylie & Ashley Chtd. filed a notice seeking to remove the case from New York state court, where it was originally filed in December 2010.
