Law360, San Diego (October 20, 2011, 6:47 PM EDT) -- The Music Force LLC on Wednesday filed a breach of contract suit in a New York federal court, claiming EMI Virgin Music Inc. and affiliates owe it hundreds of thousands of dollars stemming from copyrighted music by smooth jazz artist Bobby Caldwell and singer Garry Glenn.
The plaintiff’s complaint seeks nearly $500,000 in damages against New York City-based defendants EMI Virgin, EMI Longitude Music, EMI Blackwood Music Inc. and EMI April Music Inc.
