Producer Wants $1.5M In Suit Over Rakim Album Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (October 20, 2011, 9:30 PM EDT) -- Music producer and distributor Tuscan Villa Entertainment Inc. sued SMC Entertainment Inc. for at least $1.5 million in New York federal court Thursday, alleging SMC breached their joint venture agreement to release hip-hop star Rakim’s 2009 comeback album "The Seventh Seal."
