Ernst & Young To Try Again To Halt Ex-Workers' OT Suit

Law360, New York (October 21, 2011, 8:03 PM EDT) -- Ernst & Young LLP on Wednesday said it intended to appeal a California federal judge's decision not to toss or stay a case involving a class of former employees who accuse the professional services firm of failing to pay them overtime.

Ernst & Young will appeal the denial of its motion for an order forcing the workers claims into arbitration and staying court proceedings pending the outcome of the arbitration, according to the notice of appeal.
