ITC Agrees To Probe Texas Instruments, Kenwood In Patent Dispute

Law360 (January 6, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has agreed to investigate claims that electronics makers Texas Instruments and Kenwood Corp. are infringing patents used in digital terrestrial radio tuners marketed in the U.S.

The commission decided to launch the investigation Wednesday after receiving a complaint by BIAX Corp. on Dec. 7. That complaint alleged infringements of patents for digital processors and digital processing systems, the commission said in a statement.
