SkyWest Ticket Agents Denied Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (October 25, 2011, 3:58 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Monday shot down a bid for class certification made by former ticket agents at SkyWest Airlines Inc. who allege the company denies its workers proper overtime compensation.

U.S. District Judge Jacqueline H. Nguyen said the former SkyWest employees had failed to demonstrate a common claim for the more than 100 ticket agents they seek to represent.
