Wells Fargo Fights Overtime Claims By Loan Officers

Law360 (June 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Financial services company Wells Fargo & Co. is caught in a legal tussle with loan officers seeking to certify a class under federal labor and California unfair competition laws regarding overtime pay claims.

The parties filed dueling court papers on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California over whether home mortgage consultants who are not residents of California can still file claims under state competition laws.
