HuffPost Gets Claims Slashed From Suit Over Website Idea

Law360, New York (October 26, 2011, 3:25 PM EDT) -- A New York judge dealt a blow Tuesday to two political strategists' suit alleging the Huffington Post's founders stole their idea for a blog hub, dismissing allegations that HuffPost's originators breached a contract in cutting the strategists out of the loop.

U.S. District Judge Charles E. Ramos dismissed Peter Daou's and James Boyce's allegations that Arianna Huffington and HuffPost co-founder Kenneth Lerer reneged on a 2004 agreement to include the strategists in developing the website.
