Ga. Man Gets 4 Years For Plot To Ship Jet Parts To Iran

Law360, New York (October 26, 2011, 4:05 PM EDT) -- A Georgia man who allegedly took part in a conspiracy to illegally export attack helicopter and fighter jet parts from the U.S. to Iran was sentenced Wednesday to nearly four years in prison, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

Michael Todd, president of a company called The Parts Guys LLC, was slapped with a 46-month sentence and a $10,000 fine by a federal judge in Georgia. Todd was also ordered to forfeit $160,362. Todd and his company pled guilty May 9 to conspiracy to violate the...
