Law360, New York (October 27, 2011, 7:17 PM EDT) -- Research In Motion Ltd. is reportedly facing two potential class actions filed Tuesday and Wednesday in Canada and California, respectively, by consumers affected by a three-day service blackout on BlackBerry smartphones in mid-October.
BlackBerry users around the world were unable to access their email, message service and the Internet from Oct. 11 through Oct. 14 due to a series of technical failures at RIM’s operations center.
