DeWolff Consulting Firm Gets OT Suit Booted

Law360, New York (October 27, 2011, 8:45 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Thursday dismissed a class action brought by staffers of DeWolff Boberg & Associates Inc. alleging the management consulting firm improperly withheld overtime compensation, after a jury found the company had acted in accordance with U.S. employment law.

U.S. District Judge Reed O'Connor's order brings the May 2010 action to a close, ending accusations that DeWolff willfully misclassified some of its employees as exempt from overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
