Liberty's $4.5B KBW Buy Could Hurt Cable Market: Germany

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 5:42 PM EDT) -- Germany's antitrust regulator raised concerns Friday about Liberty Global Inc.'s proposed $4.5 billion acquisition of cable company Kabel Baden-Wuerttemberg GmbH & Co. KG from a Swiss private equity firm, citing the potential for diminished competition in Germany's cable market.
