AT&T Store Managers Denied Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 2:18 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge earlier this month refused to certify a class of AT&T Mobility Services LLC retail store managers who claim they were denied overtime pay, finding that the individual employees' claims are too diverse to support a common resolution of the suit.

U.S. District Judge George H. Wu denied the managers' motion for certification on Oct. 21, saying that the worker declarations submitted to the court demonstrated that the employees' individual circumstances were too varied to be addressed in one grouped action.
