Town Shares Liability For 2005 Dam Break: NY Court

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 9:09 PM EDT) -- A New York appeals court said Thursday that the town of Fort Ann shares liability with contractors for the 2005 collapse of a town-owned dam, reversing a ruling that it could delegate to contractors its duty to maintain and operate the dam in a safe condition.
