Female Ex-Workers Sue Wal-Mart Again Over Sex Bias

Law360, New York (October 28, 2011, 10:29 PM EDT) -- A former Wal-Mart Stores Inc. employee hit the discount chain with a putative class action in Texas federal court alleging discriminatory hiring practices Friday, four months after the U.S. Supreme Court reversed the certification of a nationwide class of female Wal-Mart employees alleging sex discrimination.

The complaint also comes a day after the rejected class of female workers amended their complaint to include only those in California, which they said would make it comply with guidelines that would allow it to be recertified.
