Nike Accused Of Swiping Golf Club Patent

Law360, New York (October 31, 2011, 3:29 PM EDT) -- Nike Inc. was sued Thursday in New Jersey federal court by the estate of an inventor that claims the sports apparel and equipment giant stole a design patent used in its line of SQ Dymo golf clubs.

The patent suit, which is one of many launched in recent years by the trust of deceased inventor Anthony J. Antonious, accuses Nike of co-opting the design for a driver patented by Antonious more than 10 years ago.
