Merrill Can't Dodge RICO Suit Over Film Financing Deal

Law360, New York (October 31, 2011, 7:27 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday trimmed a racketeering suit accusing Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. of participating in a scheme related to a failed film financing contract, but refused to drop the case based on an earlier state court settlement.
