Boeing Blasts Alabama Aircraft's $1B Contract Suit

Law360, New York (November 1, 2011, 6:50 PM EDT) -- Boeing Co. on Monday moved to dismiss a suit by bankrupt former partner Alabama Aircraft Industries Inc., saying it was within its rights to cut the company out of a planned joint bid for a $1.1 billion U.S. Air Force contract and that it didn't abuse Alabama Aircraft's proprietary information.

AAII's suit, filed by the company's bankruptcy trustee, relied on reheated contract claims that had already been dismissed by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the Federal Circuit, Boeing said....
