Wireless Tech Co. Sues Over Point-Of-Sale Patent

Law360, New York (June 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wireless technology company Ameranth Inc. sued its rival Menusoft Systems Corp. on Thursday for allegedly infringing three of its patents.

The San Diego-based company filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleging Menusoft infringed three of its patents.

“Menusoft's flagrant violation of Ameranth's patent rights and refusal to enter into a commercially reasonable licensing arrangement necessitated the present lawsuit,” the complaint said.
