Honeywell Fights $2M Fees Ruling In Chromium Action

Law360, New York (November 3, 2011, 5:47 PM EDT) -- Honeywell International Inc. on Wednesday appealed the award of $2 million in attorneys' fees to opposing counsel Terris Pravlik & Millian LLP in a citizen suit against the company over cleanup of chromium-contaminated soil, water and homes in New Jersey.

In a notice of appeal, Honeywell said it would ask the Third Circuit to review U.S. District Judge Dennis Cavanaugh's decision in September to grant plaintiff Interfaith Community Organization most of the legal fees it was seeking to pay Washington firm Terris Pravlik.
