EFF Presses For Answer On Patriot Act FOIA Bid

Law360, New York (November 3, 2011, 7:00 PM EDT) -- The Electronic Frontier Foundation on Thursday tweaked its suit in California over the federal government's allegedly inadequate response to a Freedom of Information Act request for records pertaining to the U.S.' "secret" interpretation of a Patriot Act search provision.

The EFF added details about the lack of information that it received from several offices within the U.S. Department of Justice to its first amended complaint, but left unchanged the bulk of its original Oct. 26 complaint seeking more documents relating to the FBI's use and interpretation...
