Sony Ericsson Sued Over Exploding Cell Phone

Law360, New York (June 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Illinois man has sued Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications Inc. and T-Mobile USA Inc. after his cell phone allegedly exploded while he was talking on it.

In a complaint filed last month with the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, the man, Sergiu Luca, said he had suffered permanent and temporary damage as a result of the explosion.
