Contractors' FCA Claims Fail To Deliver, DHL Says

Law360, New York (November 9, 2011, 1:51 PM EST) -- DHL Express (USA) Inc. sought Tuesday to dismiss two contractors' qui tam suit in New York accusing the shipping company of overcharging federal agencies for package deliveries, arguing they were too late in contesting the shipment bills.

DHL asked a federal court to kill the False Claims Act allegations of relators Kevin Grupp and Robert Moll, who own a trucking company that contracted with DHL, because the pair did not notify DHL of the alleged overcharges within 180 days of receipt of the bills, as required...
