Subcontractor Cops To Lying To TVA About Inspections

Law360, New York (November 9, 2011, 4:57 PM EST) -- A subcontractor working on a $2.5 billion Tennessee Valley Authority project admitted on Wednesday to lying about the inspection of cables that powered safety equipment at a nuclear power plant, about a week after a co-worker was sentenced to probation on similar charges.

John Delk, a supervisor for subcontractor Williams Specialty Services LLC, pled guilty to making false statements on forms assuring the TVA that he had inspected power-supply cables, including those that fed safety equipment, inside a containment structure at the TVA's Watts Bar Nuclear...
