GAO Denies Protest Of $10B Afghan Food Supply Contract

Law360, New York (November 9, 2011, 9:28 PM EST) -- Supreme Foodservice GmbH failed to convince the U.S. Government Accountability Office that a government solicitation for a contract to supply food to the military in Afghanistan — estimated to be worth $10 billion — included too many variables to be a fixed-price contract, a decision released Wednesday revealed.
