Buyer Wants Claims Added In Property Sale Suit

Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 6:12 PM EST) -- The buyer of 20 acres of oceanfront Staten Island property will ask a New York appeals court Wednesday to allow fraud and other claims to be added to its lawsuit alleging the sellers hid problems with a seawall on the property.

Princes Point LLC alleges Allied Princes Bay Co. and an affiliate didn't reveal problems with a seawall that protected the property when Princes Point agreed to buy the land for about $36 million in 2004 or when the sellers upped the purchase price in 2006....
