NBCUniversal Asks 2nd Circ. To Nix 'Royal Pains' IP Suit

Law360, New York (November 14, 2011, 5:36 PM EST) -- NBCUniversal Media LLC on Monday pushed the Second Circuit to toss a suit accusing it of stealing the idea for the “Royal Pains” television series from "Star Wars" actor Hayden Christensen, saying the plaintiffs' breach of contract theory fails.
