AmEx Can't Sidestep OT Class Action

Law360, New York (November 14, 2011, 1:31 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Thursday denied attempts by American Express Co. to quash a putative class action brought by workers who claim the credit card giant misclassified nonmanagerial employees in order to avoid paying them overtime wages.
