Judge Refuses To Trim Norton Workers' ERISA Action

Law360, New York (November 15, 2011, 5:14 PM EST) -- A Kentucky federal judge refused Monday to trim an Employee Retirement Income Security Act class action filed by ex-Norton Healthcare Inc. workers claiming they got shorted on contractually promised retirement benefits, ruling that a 15-year statute of limitations — not the five-year window for which the defendant argued — applied to the claims.
