Merrill Can't Subpoena Ex-Bosses In Sex Bias Suit: Judge

Law360, Los Angeles (November 15, 2011, 4:37 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge has shot down a bid by Merrill Lynch & Co. to subpoena the former employers of four female financial trainees who claim the financial giant discriminated against women and fired them because of their gender, according to a ruling made available Tuesday.
